This place can be called the landmark of Phuket. Whether you come here to enjoy a sunset or to take a few pictures you won’t be disappointed.
There is a working lighthouse on the Cape with a small historical Museum inside. On the way to the lighthouse, you will find a shrine. Thai people believe that such a beautiful place is certainly inhabited by strong spirits. To gain spirits favor or pay respect Thais often bring offerings or gifts to the shrine. You can buy a gift for yourself or your loved ones at a souvenir market located in front of the parking lot.
Most people don’t go beyond the concrete barrier wall. But there is a dirt path leading down that will take you directly to flat stones, gently sloping into the sea.

This is an interesting attraction for both adults and kids. It takes a few minutes for your brain to get used to the inverted interior and to understand how to take pictures. You will need to take a picture and rotate your camera so it looks like you are on the ceiling. Everything in the house is upside down not only furniture and objects but also signs and labels.

There is a garden maze behind the house with free WiFi.

Tong Sai waterfall is different from other waterfalls on Phuket. It is 2km long that make it the longest and the second highest on the island. It is not a waterfall where a high volume of water plunging down from a high cliff. It rather just flows over rock steps and a few small ledges where you can get under the stream for a natural massage.
If you decide to take a trek around the falls, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared that the trail might disappear under fallen trees, and you will need to find a detour.

This is the biggest of the 3 best-known waterfalls on Phuket. At the base, there is one pool for swimming. The trail leading to the fall is picturesque and not overly taxing and long.
This place is also a home to the Gibbons Rehabilitation Center established in 1992. The center takes care and rehabilitates rescued, wounded and left without parents monkeys.
Volunteers working at the center deserve great respect. They are always happy to talk about the project and answer questions about gibbons.
You won’t be able to touch or even get close to the monkeys at the center but there is plenty of interesting information posted around. One of the center’s goals is to educate visitors. Next time you are offered to get your picture taken with a baby gibbon on the streets say NO. Most tourists don’t suspect that a gibbon mother is usually gets killed when poachers take a baby gibbon from her.

Aquarium presents a great opportunity to see many inhabitants of the local waters. They can be observed in water tanks and in the underwater tunnel.
Brochures with a map of the Park are available at the entrance. There are a lot of tropical fishes in the main building: piranhas, clown fish (Nemo), groupers that reach 300 kg, etc. Behind the main building, there is a footpath along the coast that leads to a pier, Museum of whales and dolphins, as well as a pool with the turtles. There are a lot of signs with very interesting facts posted along the path. For example, you can learn how to use fruits of some coastal trees for medical purposes. Or do you know that Styrofoam used for food packaging takes 500 000 years to decompose?
